As far as this subject has been recorded, the origin of this subject comes from the magic scripture of "Father Chan Sangkhasiri", and from the fact that Arjarn Inkaew asked Grand Master Komdej about the history of this subject, Grand Master kindly told more interesting details to Arjarn Inkaew that:

“The magic subject about Ngang has many different subjects and various kinds of history. There are both Deva Ngang and Devil Ngang. For Deva Ngang, it will have only benefits without disadvantages because this subject has claimed the virtues of the gods, angels, and the right mental attitude supernatural beings to reside in the Ngang body. Therefore, Deva Ngang will benefit the owner in terms of charm, reputation, protection, fortune, and wealth. Its power will focus heavily on high-class charm.
