Description:

The Black Naga Guru by Arjarn Inkaew, Dong Phaya Tham Institution.

The eldest of the underground city who keeps watch over the wealth of the legendary town.

The gold glittering black scales Naga who has the largest body among the Naga dynasty.

The conqueror of evil, the wealthy underworld deity who always be kind to moral people and protect good people.

For the history of "The Black Naga Guru (Phor Pu Ong Dam Saen Sirichandra Nakarat)" has to go back to the time when Arjarn Inkaew was about 19 years old. He said that at that time in the area around Dong Phaya Tham Institution, there were no buildings yet. It was still dense forest and abandoned land. Therefore, his grandfather and grandmother built a small hut for Arjarn Inkaew to stay and practice meditation according to his intention, as a person who pursues precepts and Dhamma should do.

When the hut was completed, Arjarn Inkaew made a truthful prayer at the hut that he would focus on practicing meditation, hibernating, walking meditation, eating one meal, and closing his speech for 15 days in a row. Arjarn Inkaew said that approximately on the 7th day, or the 8th day, while he was meditating, a strange vision arose in his mind. In that vision he saw that a small hole on the ground in front of the hut where he was sitting, there was a square pond appeared. That square pond has stairs to walk down. And next to the pond appeared the figure of a big black man. But, he couldn't see his face clearly. The big black man said to Arjarn Inkaew that he would lead Arjarn Inkaew to see the underground city. Arjarn Inkaew agreed and walked down the pond with the big black man. Arjarn Inkaew said that when he walked down, he saw another city that looked like a rice field with a canal of clear water stretching as far as his eye could see. On both sides of the moat, there were ancient castles and buildings that were full of splendor and strangeness from human cities. While Arjarn Inkaew followed that big black man, he did not know how long until he became aware of consciousness again after he came out of meditation.

After a few days, the large man with a black body came to Arjarn Inkaew in the vision again. This time he told Arjarn Inkaew that he wanted Arjarn Inkaew to dig a pond at the place where he led Arjarn Inkaew to walk down to see the underground city. If Arjarn Inkaew could do it for him as he requested, he would help Arjarn Inkaew made this place become prosperous and keep it being a place for Dhamma practice for Buddhists to use in the future. When Arjarn Inkaew heard this, he listened but hadn't responded to the big black man yet. Because he was thinking in his mind about where he would get the money to build it? Because at that time he was only 19 years old. Then, the vision disappeared.

During that time, Arjarn Inkaew was still studying at a university in Korat Province. It appeared that there was a university housekeeper who was close to him told Arjarn Inkaew that, while she was sleeping, she dreamed that a big black man walked up from the pond and told her some numbers in her dream. When she took the numbers she got to buy a lottery ticket, and she got a lottery prize surprisingly. When Arjarn Inkaew heard the details of the dream that the housekeeper had experienced, he immediately knew that the big black man who had entered the housekeeper's dream was probably none other than the same big black man who Arjarn Inkaew had met in his vision. So, he told the housekeeper all the stories he had experienced as well.

This story has gradually spread. After that, other university housekeepers and many others had the big fortune of praying to that big black man. Some people won the lottery prize 10 times in a row. Until one day, people who believed they had got great luck and great fortune, with the help of the man who walked up from the pond, collected money and brought it to Arjarn Inkaew. The amount of money was almost 50,000 baht, so that Arjarn Inkaew could use the money to dig the ground to be a pond, according to the request of the big black man who had come to tell Arjarn Inkaew in his vision.

Once Arjarn Inkaew had dug a pond according to the request of that big black man, many miraculous things happened. Everything that was impossible began to become possible. Until he was able to complete the construction of the Dong Phaya Tham Institution while he was only in his early 20s. Therefore, Arjarn Inkaew believed that behind all this success, it was definitely possible with the help of the big black man who had fulfilled the promise he had made to Arjarn Inkaew.

Many people, including Brahmins, Dhamma-farers, and Arjarn Inkaew's disciples had come to stay at Dong Phaya Tham Institution. They often told stories about dreams that had the same details. They dreamed of seeing a gold glittering black scales snake that was big as a palm tree slithering around the pond that Arjarn Inkaew built. Some dreamed of seeing a group of people wearing strangely dressed white clothes walking up in a line from that pond. Some dreamed of seeing ancient castles similar to the Khmer castle with strange animals living around, such as a tiger that can fly or an elephant with wings, etc.

Arjarn Inkaew told all these stories to "Grandfather Lersi Solot, the headmaster of Isan magic" and asked Grandfather Lersi Solot that he really wanted to know who the big black was. Then, Grandfather Lersi Solot told Arjarn Inkaew that this place (Dong Phaya Tham Institution) used to be the legendary town or hidden city. There are many overlapping worlds and dimensions. The big black man that Arjarn Inkaew had met was probably one of the Naga families, whose body's skin was black, who wanted to help Arjarn Inkaew build the Dong Phaya Tham Institution to be a place where it would bring benefit to Buddhists. Since then, Arjarn Inkaew established the name of that big black man as "Phor Pu Ong Dam Saen Sirichandra Nakarat" or Pu Ong Dam (The Black Naga Guru), the eldest of the underground city who keeps watch over the wealth of the legendary town, the gold glittering black scales Naga who has the largest body among the Naga dynasty, the conqueror of evil, the wealthy underworld deity who always be kind to moral people and protect good people.

From all of the above stories, Arjarn Inkaew created a sacred object that represents "Phor Pu Ong Dam Saen Sirichandra Nakarat" or Pu Ong Dam (The Black Naga Guru) to remember the grace that The Black Naga Guru had in helping him complete the building of Dong Phaya Tham Institution, and in order to spread the virtue of The Black Naga Guru to be famous in the 16 levels of heaven, 15 levels of earth, and 14 levels of underground. Arjarn Inkaew created a prototype wax figure according to the vision of The Black Naga Guru appearing after Arjarn Inkaew completely built the pond following The Black Naga Guru's request. That is, The Black Naga Guru did not appear in the form of a big black man like in the beginning. But the appearance that The Black Naga Guru had appeared to Arjarn Inkaew in visions or in meditation later, he would appear in the form of an elderly man with a long beard, wearing a turban, as Hindus & Brahmins usually wear, and beside him were black snakes as his guardian. Since Arjarn Inkaew had the idea of creating this batch of The Black Naga Guru, a miracle happened from the day he finished making the prototype wax figure. That is, the sky above his magic institution had strange-shaped clouds that looked like Naga spreading its hood. This phenomenon was considered an auspicious sign that The Black Naga Guru had been informed of the creation of this amulet.

After that, Arjarn Inkaew took sacred metals and Yantra sheets to cast into the statue representing The Black Naga Guru. Then, Arjarn Inkaew filled the base with various auspicious powders such as:

- Soil of 7 termite hills, soil of 7 fields, soil of 7 waterfronts, soil of 7 ponds, soil of 7 salt lick areas, and soil of 7 city centers.

- A special sacred powder of Grandfather Lersi Solot that he used to make amulets.

- A sacred powder of over 1,000 types from Lersi Seksan, the disciple of LP.Hong Prompanyo.

- Nang Ta Khian powder (When Arjarn Inkaew got it, the female nymp of Ta Khian (Hopea odorata) often appeared for people to see and also gave a lucky number to win the lottery.)

- Golden Face Herb Powder, made from Golden Face Herb that was planted and watered by magic ritual, its power is very strong in the case of charm. (Arjarn Inkaew got it from Arjarn Pop)

- Muneejinda Powder, it is a famous magic powder that Arjarn Inkaew had released out for rent, so he kept some to be a material for making his amulets further. There are many experiences from people who have ever used this Muneejinda Powder. They said this magic power can help them to have good business and enhance their charming appearances. So, Arjarn Inkaew uses this Muneejinda Powder to be a material for making amulets according to its loving-kindness power.

- 13 types of Leklai and various kinds of supernatural herb.
Moreover, Arjarn Inkaew wrote 4 great magic characters "Na Ga Mar Ma" on the bottom of The Black Naga Guru which is the sacred mantra to summon the Naga.

In addition, Arjarn Inkaew also brought "Black Onyx", which is a gemstone that is directly associated with The Black Naga Guru because its color is as black as the scales of him to decorate the stomach area. According to beliefs in the power and magic of gemstones, people have believed for a long time that this black onyx is a mysterious stone that has charm that makes everyone want to explore it. It can enhance the power, fortune and prestige of the owner, and can also protect the owner from various evil things. It also dispels and reflects negative energy due to the physical characteristics of black onyx which reflects light well.

In the blessing ceremony, Arjarn Inkaew invited The Black Naga Guru to come and bless his statue by himself. The worshipers can pray to The Black Naga Guru for auspicious blessings they desire, but not violate morals or violate the Dhamma. From the experiences that disciples and believers have brought this statue to worship, this batch of The Black Naga Guru is very prominent in fortune, wealth, and protection. In particular, people who are descendants of the Nagas have respect and believe in Buddhism. Whatever they ask from The Black Naga Guru, it is always amazingly successful.
