หลวงพ่อสายทองปั้นพระอุปคุตตด้วยตัวท่านเอง ด้วยองค์หลวงพ่อท่านได้ศึกษาเรียนวิชาธรรมพระอุปคุต หลวงพ่อเล่าว่าธรรมห้องนี้ เป็นธรรมสาย "หลวงปู่พิบูลย์ วัดพระแท่น จ.อุดรธานี" ธรรมห้องนี้ใช้ได้แทบทุกอย่าง ทั้งกัน ทั้งแก้ ทั้งไล่ ทั้งปราบ ทั้งขจัดสิ่งที่ชั่วร้าย ยังป้องกันภัยคุ้มภัยแคล้วคลาดอยู่เย็นเป็นสุข เรียกได้ครบทุกด้านเลย
“พระอุปคุตมหาเถระ” พระมหาเถระองค์สำคัญในสมัยพระเจ้าอโศกมหาราช เป็นพระอรหันต์หลังสมัยพุทธกาล ผู้เปี่ยมด้วยอิทธิฤทธิ์ สามารถปราบพญามารและกำจัดสิ่งชั่วร้ายที่จะมาทำลายพระพุทธศาสนา ท่านเนรมิตเรือนแก้ว(กุฏิแก้ว) ขึ้นในท้องทะเลหลวง (สะดือทะเล) แล้วก็ลงไปอยู่ประจำที่กุฏิแก้วตลอดเวลา เมื่อมีเหตุเภทภัยเกิดขึ้นในพระศาสนา หรือเมื่อมีพิธีกรรมใหญ่ๆ หรือมีผู้นิมนต์ ท่านก็จะขึ้นมาช่วยเหลือด้วยความเต็มใจ เป็นที่เคารพศรัทธาของเหล่าสาธุชนเป็นอย่างมาก จึงได้สร้างรูปเคารพเพื่อกราบไหว้บูชา ทั้งในลักษณะพระบูชาและพระเครื่อง เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล และเชื่อว่าจะเกิดโชคลาภ คุ้มกันภัยพิบัติ และขจัดอุปสรรคภยันตรายทั้งปวง

Luang Por Saithong personally crafted Upagupta statue himself. Luang Por Saithong studied and learned the magic of Upagupta. Luang Por Saithong mentioned that the Dhamma of this magic comes from "Luang Pu Phiboon from Wat Phra Thaen, Udonthani Province". This magic can be used for almost everything: to protect, to resolve, to drive away, to suppress, and to eliminate evil things. It also serves as a shield, preventing danger and ensuring safety, bringing peace and happiness in all aspects.
"Phra Upakut Maha Thera (Upagupta)" was an important monk during the reign of King Ashoka the Great. He was an arahant after the Buddha's time, endowed with great supernatural powers. He was capable of vanquishing Mara, the demon, and eliminating evil forces that sought to destroy Buddhism. He created a crystal pavilion (a glass hut) in the middle of the ocean (the ocean's navel) and resided there permanently. Whenever there was a crisis in the Buddhist teachings, a major ritual, or an invitation, he would come up to assist with full dedication. He was highly respected and revered by the people, which is why statues of him were created for worship and veneration, both in the form of Buddha images and amulets. These are believed to bring blessings, protect from calamities, and eliminate all obstacles and dangers.

ภาพพิธีอธิษฐานจิตปลุกเสก เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 11 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 (เวลา 24.00 น.) จนล่วงเลยไปถึงวันพุธที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 (เวลา 3.30 น.) อิงตามตำนานวันเป็งปุ๊ด(เพ็ญวันพุธ) ทางภาคเหนือ ที่เชื่อกันว่าพระอุปคุตจะแปลงกายมาเป็นสามเณรลงมารับบิณบาตรพุทธศาสนิกชนบนโลกมนุษย์
The consecration ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 (at 12:00 AM midnight) and continued into Wednesday, February 12, 2025 (at 3:30 AM), following the legend of the "Peng-Pud day (Full Moon on Wednesday)" in the northern region. It is believed that on this day, Phra Upakut transforms into a novice monk and descends to receive alms from Buddhist followers in the human world.
