The legend of Pichai Songkram Yant is said that once upon a time the country had a war. Enemy forces surrounded the town for every side, so the priests & sorcerers had to consult together to find a way to fight against the enemy. Therefore, "Pichai Songkram Yant" was created within that meeting.

They used Pichai Songkram Yant to make Takrud & holy cloth and distributed to the governor & each army leader.

After that, there are many miracles occurred until the commander could strike & chase the enemy retreated out of the town. They got the victory in the battle that cannot be won by the absolute power of Pichai Songkram.

However, there are many legends of the history of Pichai Songkram Yant. Finding the first person who invented it would probably not be clear. Some said that “Master Tisapamoke” created this Yant to be one of the highest Yant ever.

In which the content of Pichai Songkram Yant mentioned about Ratana Mala, virtues of Buddha, virtues of Dharma, virtues of Sangha and the heart of Bodhi Lanka Scripture, Shinar Lanka Scripture, Mula Kaccayana Scripture & Pathamsomphotticatha Scripture included in this Yant miraculously.

However, this version of “Pichai Songkram Takrud” is much more special than regular type because Phra Arjarn O invitedthe horoscope of Gotama Buddha's birthday & the time of birth that was already encoded to be numeric sign & magical alphabet to write into this Takrud exquisitely. Specifically, at the center point of this Takrud has 28 names of other Buddhas causing all 28 pieces of “Pichai Songkram Takrud” also has different 28 Buddha's name inside too. The name lists of 28 Buddhas consisted of Taṇhaṅkara, Medhaṅkara, Saraṇaṅkara, Dīpaṃkara, Koṇḍañña, Maṅgala, Sumana, Revata, Sobhita, Anomadassi, Paduma, Nārada, Padumuttara, Sumedha, Sujāta, Piyadassi, Atthadassi, Dhammadassī, Siddhattha, Tissa, Phussa, Vipassī, Sikhī, Vessabhū, Kakusandha, Koṇāgamana, Kassapa, and Gotama.

Phra Arjarn O made this “Pichai Songkram Takrud” followed previous well-known masters such as "Maikru Takrud" of LP.Poo, Wat in which has been praised to be the no.1 Maikru of Thailand. When LP.Poo made his Maikru, he would also put the different names of the Lord Buddha into each Maikru differently according to his omen.

The same as Phra Kring of Wat Suthat were made. Because it appears that the different names of Buddha were engraved at the base of each Phra Kring differently. In addition, the great astrologer & wizard of Thailand who is one of Phra Arjarn O’s teachers usually carry a small Buddha statue with him everywhere. Inside that Buddha statue also has a “Pichai Songkram Takrud” that was written with the horoscope of Gotama Buddha as well.
