This edition represents a complete and refined continuation of the ancient Ngang tradition, perfectly embodying both sacred knowledge and artistic mastery, just as the revered masters of old once practiced with impeccable precision.
The Ngang Amulet “Continuing Ngang Legacy” edition was created in a strictly limited total of only 236 pieces, revived from an original foundry mold over 40 years old that had been carefully preserved since the father’s generation. The legend has now been reawakened by Arjarn Jiam. Cast using the traditional Thai clay mold method and selected bronze based on a proprietary alloy formula, the surface texture is beautifully sharp and dimensional, distinctly different from common clay-based Ngang amulets. The clay beneath the base was blended with a “special sacred material powder” that Arjarn Jiam has collected over many years, integrated during the mold-forming stage to ensure equal spiritual potency and sanctity in every single piece. Each amulet has undergone a solemn consecration ceremony and was individually anointed with magic wax.

งั่งพิมพ์โบราณ อันเป็นที่คุ้นตา และมากด้วยประสบการณ์ อาจารย์เจียมได้ปลุกตำนาน สืบสานสร้างไว้ในนามมนต์เสน่ห์เมืองมอญ จากแม่พิมพ์เดิมที่มีอายุไม่ต่ำกว่า 40 ปี!! เจ้าของโรงหล่อพบว่าที่โรงหล่อมีพิมพ์พระงั่งอยู่ ซึ่งพิมพ์พระงั่งนี้เป็นของเก่าตั้งแต่รุ่นพ่อ ตั้งแต่รับช่วงกิจการต่อจากพ่อ ก็เก็บพิมพ์ไว้ไม่ได้เอาออกมาหล่อ เก็บมาประมาณ 40 ปีและนี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของการจัดสร้างงั่งในรุ่นนี้นั่นเอง
The ancient model of Ngang amulet, which is familiar and rich in experience, was revived by Arjarn Jiam, using the original mold that is no less than 40 years old!! The owner of the foundry discovered that there was an ancient Ngang mold kept at the workshop. This particular mold dated back to his father’s generation. After taking over the business from his father, he preserved the mold and never used it for casting. It had been stored away for approximately 40 years. And this is precisely how the creation of this Ngang edition began.
อาจารย์เจียมได้ทำการจารยันต์ไปที่หุ่นเทียนทีละองค์ โดยที่หน้าอกด้านหน้าใส่ยันต์ "นะดี นะดัง" ยันต์ประจำตัวอาจารย์เจียม ซึ่งอาจารย์เจียมได้เลือกยันต์ "พุด-ตะ-วา" เอามาใส่ที่ด้านหลังพระงั่ง (ด้านซ้าย) และใส่ชื่ออาจารย์เจียม (อ.เจียม) ที่ด้านขวา และใส่เลข พ.ศ. ปีที่สร้าง (๒๕๖๘) ที่ฐานพระงั่งทั้งด้านหน้า/หลัง โดยที่โครงการนี้ชื่อว่า "สืบสานตำนานงั่ง" เนื่องจากเป็นนำแบบพิมพ์พระงั่งดั้งเดิมของโรงหล่อที่เก็บเอาไว้มานานกว่า 40 ปี เอามาใช้และเพิ่มเติมรายละเอียดต่างๆเข้าไป โดยใช้วิธีการหล่อแบบโบราณเทดินไทยเลือกโลหะเป็นเนื้อสำริด ตามสูตรการผสมสำริดของโรงหล่อนี้ เนื้อออกมาสวยมาก ทำให้เนื้อพระงั่งรุ่นนี้แตกต่างจากพระงั่งฐานดินที่เราเจอทั่วไป Arjarn Jiam personally inscribed sacred yantra designs onto each wax model one by one. On the front chest, he inscribed the yantra “Na Dee Na Dang", which is his personal signature yantra. On the back of the Ngang image, he chose to inscribe the “Phut-Ta-Wa” yantra on the left side, placed his name (Arjarn Jiam) on the right side, and added the Buddhist Era year of creation (2568 BE / 2025 CE) on the base, both front and back. This project is titled “Continuing Ngang Legacy”, as it revives the original Ngang mold of the foundry that had been preserved for over 40 years, bringing it back into use with additional refined details. The casting was carried out using the traditional Thai clay mold pouring method, selecting bronze as the metal according to the foundry’s own bronze alloy formula. The resulting surface and texture are exceptionally beautiful, giving this edition of Ngang a distinctive character that sets it apart from the clay-based ancient Ngang amulets commonly encountered.

The special sacred powder compounded by Arjarn Jiam consists of: lightning-struck sacred powder, soil powder from Phra Chai Ayutthaya, powder from the seven animal horns and nine tusks (including powdered fangs, horns, antlers, tusks, coconut shell, and minerals), various mineral powders, soil from seven fields, soil from seven piers, soil from seven service establishments, soil from the front yards of seven wealthy households, soil from the center of a marketplace, crab-burrow soil (earth used to seal crab holes), consecrated boundary stone residue (khrai sema), and other sacred materials that Arjarn Jiam has collected since the past. What makes this edition particularly special is that the “Sacred Powder Blend” was mixed together with fine clay and sand during the mold-making stage (the soft-clay forming process). Therefore, regardless of the color of the clay, every piece in the Continuing Ngang Legacy edition carries the same spiritual intensity and sanctity, because Arjarn Jiam has carefully selected and included only the finest sacred materials.

• เผาเร็ว เทียนละลายออกหมด แต่พิมพ์ดินยังชุ่มด้วยเทียน (เทียนยังไม่ระเหยออกจากดิน) = เป็นสีดำ In this image, you can see the soil beneath the base of a newly cast Ngang image from the “Continuing Ngang Legacy” project. Soil with a brownish-gray tone like this is most commonly found in larger ancient Ngang amulets (such as the various “Phaya” molds). Smaller ancient Ngang amulets, on the other hand, are usually found with light brown soil (similar to dried red earth). However, there is no fixed rule that a particular mold must have a specific soil color. Various soil colors can be found in clay-based ancient Ngang bases (excluding differences in size and granularity of the soil particles).
The color of the soil results from the wax-removal stage of the casting process (the mold is fired in a kiln so that the wax model melts out. Once the wax melts away, a hollow cavity is formed, and molten metal is then poured in to replace it).
• Long firing time. = Wax completely melts out, the clay becomes very dry, light brown color.
• Moderate firing time. = Wax completely melts out but the clay mold is not fully dry, brownish-gray color (as shown in the image)
• Quick firing. = Wax completely melts out, but the clay mold remains saturated with wax (the wax has not fully evaporated from the clay), black color.
เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 31 มกราคม 2569 อาจารย์เจียมได้ทำพิธีปลุกเสกพระงั่งรุ่น “สืบสานตำนานงั่ง” รอบสุดท้ายเป็นที่เรียบร้อย หลังจากปลุกเสกเสร็จก็ทำการเจิมสีผึ้งทีละองค์จนครบ
On Saturday, January 31, 2026 (B.E. 2569), Arjarn Jiam performed the final consecration ceremony for the Ngang edition titled “Continuing Ngang Legacy”. After completing the consecration, he applied sacred mahic wax (si phueng) to each piece individually until every single one had been anointed.
