That dragon is also honored to have a duty to look after the "Magic Crystal Ball" and also be the royal vehicle of Guan Yin Bodhisattva. This legend causes the belief that “The dragon will pick up those with saint qualifications to heaven where only those who are virtuous, honest, have a pure heart will have the opportunity to ride on the dragon's back."
