แก่นของวิชานี้มีนัยยะว่า "แม้แต่อสุรินทราหู เทพผู้ยิ้มยาก ยังเกิดอารมณ์ขันหัวเราะชอบใจ"
"ตะกรุดราหูเฮฮา" จากวิชาทางล้านนาชื่อว่า "พระเจ้าแย้มไข้หัว (ราหูหัวเราะ)" เป็นวิชาเก่าแก่โบราณของล้านนาที่หาได้ยากยิ่งตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน พบเจอได้น้อยนัก จะมีอยู่ในเฉพาะกลุ่มของครูบาอาจารย์รุ่นเก่าก่อนที่ได้สืบสายวิชากันมาโดยตรงเท่านั้น ครูบาฐากูรท่านได้สืบทอดตำรานี้มาจากครูบาอาจารย์ของท่านมานานแล้ว แต่ในปัจจุบันนี้ท่านเห็นว่าผู้คนมีอารมณ์ร้อนกว่าแต่ก่อน เกิดความโมโหโกรธาได้ง่าย มักมีความเข้าใจผิดจนเป็นเหตุให้ทะเลาะเบาะแว้งกันบ่อยท่านจึงตั้งใจนำวิชานี้มาจัดสร้างเป็นตะกรุดให้ผู้คนได้นำไปใช้นำไปบูชา เพื่อประโยชน์สุขแก่ลูกศิษย์ลูกหาในการใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในสังคมอย่างผาสุข
เชื่อถือกันตั้งแต่สมัยป้ออุ๊ยแม่อุ๊ยว่าตะกรุดราหูเฮฮานี้ มีสิทธิคุณด้านเมตตามหานิยม สร้างความสุขและเสียงหัวเราะ สร้างบรรยากาศสุขใจชื่นมื่นอารมณ์ดี ไปไหนมีแต่คนยิ้มให้ เป็นที่ชอบอกชอบใจแก่ชายหญิงทั้งหลายแล เมื่อเสวนากับใครก็มีแต่สรวลเสเฮฮาหัวเราะร่าเริง แบ่งปันรอยยิ้มให้กันและกัน จะขึ้นหาเจ้าเฝ้าหานาย หรือพบปะเข้าหาผู้คนทั้งหลายที่ไม่เคยรู้จักกันมาก่อน ก็มิมีความโกรธเกลียดชังหน้ากันเลย แม้ศัตรูที่มีความชิงชังกันมาแต่ก่อน ยังกลับมาเมตตายินดีเป็นมิตรที่มีไมตรีต่อกันได้ อาราธนาติดตัวไว้เจรจาติดต่อธุรกิจการงาน จะสำเร็จสมหวังผ่านไปด้วยดี ด้วยความสนุกสนานครึกครื้นรื่นรมณ์

สำหรับการสร้าง "ตะกรุดราหูเฮฮา" นี้ครูบาฐากูรได้นำแผ่นทองฝาบาตรมาจารเลขยันต์อักขระตามตำราแบบเต็มสูตร พร้อมเรียกสูตรเรียกนามในฤกษ์ยามเฉพาะ เสร็จแล้วจึงทำการม้วนก่อนจะนำไปพอกด้วยสารพัดผงวิเศษผงพุทธคุณมีทั้งผงลบกระดาน, ผงว่านยาทางมหานิยมชุ่มเย็น, และผงพุทธคุณที่ครูบาฐากูรได้ทำพิธีพลีมาจากพระเครื่องวัตถุมงคลต่างๆที่ท่านรวบรวมสะสมไว้
ซึ่งครูบาฐากูรต้องนำผงทั้งหมดนี้มาบดด้วยกรรมวิธีพิเศษหลายขั้นหลายตอนจนกระทั่งผงมวลสารทั้งหมดมีความละเอียดถึงที่สุดท่านว่าหากบดไม่ละเอียดพอเวลานำมาพอกตะกรุดจะทำให้พื้นผิวตะกรุดไม่เรียบลื่นสวยงามหากผิวตะกรุดขรุขระขึ้นเม็ดก็จะไม่สามารถจารยันต์บนตะกรุดได้
