โดยยันต์ที่ครูบาฐากูรท่านนำมาลงตะกรุดนี้ มีอยู่ในตำราปั๊ปสาเก่าโบราณอายุร้อยกว่าปี สืบทอดกันมาจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น สิทธิคุณมากมายคณานับ ระดับครอบจักรวาล ไม่แพ้วัตถุมงคลในตระกูลแมลงภู่คำชนิดอื่นๆอย่างแน่นอน ยันต์นี้ถือว่ามีความพิเศษและพิสดารในตัว ครูบาฐากูรท่านมั่นใจในวิชานี้มาก เวลาลูกศิษย์ลูกหาถามถึงแมลงภู่คำ ท่านจะถึงนึกยันต์นี้เป็นอันดับแรก ท่านจะนำยันต์นี้มาเขียนใส่แผ่นโลหะ หรือม้วนทำเป็นตะกรุดให้ไปบูชา

[ แมลงที่ได้พรจากพระพุทธองค์ ] ทางพม่ามีตำนานบันทึกเรื่องราว เกี่ยวกับพญาแมลงภู่คำไว้อย่างงดงามว่า เป็นแมลงมงคลศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ที่ได้รับรัศมีทิพยโอภาส แห่งพระบรมศาสดาองค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ในครั้งที่พระองค์ทรงตรัสรู้บรรลุธรรมวิเศษแล้วพญาแมลงภู่คำพากันบินไปยังป่าหิมพานต์ นำเอาดอกกาสะลองทิพย์มารองรัตนบัลลังก์ ถวายเป็นพุทธบูชา พระพุทธองค์จึงได้ตรัสเปล่งพุทธวาจาประสิทธิ์พร แก่พญาแมลงภู่นั้นว่า “เป็นสัตว์ที่ประเสริฐกว่าแมลงมีปีกทั้งหลาย”
[ ภมรจอมเจาะใจคน ] ความมหัศจรรย์ของแมลงภู่อีกอย่างหนึ่งก็คือ แมลงภู่เป็นแมลงมีปีกไม่กี่ชนิดที่สามารถเจาะไม้เนื้อแข็งๆได้ จึงมีอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า “แมลงช่างไม้” ฉนั้นแล้วอานุภาพของแมลงภู่คำเรื่องการเจาะเข้าไปอยู่ในอกในใจของผู้ที่เราปราถนานั้น ย่อมง่ายดาย ยากที่ใครจะปฏิเสธต่อต้านได้ แม้นว่าจะใจแข็งแค่ไหนก็ต้องใจอ่อนผ่อนตาม ด้วยประการฉะนี้แล
[ ยืนหนึ่งเรื่องครองใจคน ] แมลงภู่นั้นชอบดอดอมบินตอมของหวานสวยงามและมีกลิ่นหอม และถ้าแมลงภู่บินไปตอมดอกไม้ดอกใด แมลงต่างๆหรือแม้แต่ผึ้งยังต้องหนี พูดง่ายๆก็คือใครพกแมลงภู่คำนี้ไว้ จะได้เชยชมคนรูปงามทั้งชายและหญิง และขจัดขับไล่คู่แข่งออกไปให้ไกลโพ้น ยืนหนึ่งเป็นผู้ชนะ10ทิศ ครองใจ10เมือง
พุทธคุณของพญาแมลงภู่คำโดยสังเขปมีดังนี้:
๑. เด่นทางเมตตามหานิยม เมตตามหาเสน่ห์ คนรักคนหลง เป็นที่รักใคร่เอ็นดูของผู้คนทั้งหลาย
๒. อยู่ดีกินดี มั่งมีเงินทอง ซื้อง่ายขายคล่อง ทั้งยังหนุนดวง เสริมดวงชะตาและราศี
๓. ป้องกันภยันตรายทั้งปวง กันภูตผีปีศาจคุณไสยมนต์ดำ เดินทางปลอดภัย เตือนภัยเจ้าของ
๔. ถ้าปรารถนาสิ่งใด อธิษฐานบอกกล่าวได้ เพราะพญาแมลงภู่คำเป็นของมีชีวิตจิตใจ พร้อมช่วยเหลือเต็มที่

Golden Bumblebee Takrud by Kruba Thakoon, MaePhae Temple, Chiang Mai Province.
The holy animal beyond all Insects. The superb bee blessed by the Buddha. It can be said that this bumblebee is as holy as the bumblebee amulet that Bo Bo Ong, the great magic teacher, made for Bayinnaung Kyawhtin Nawrahta, the winner of the 10 directions.
The yantra that Kruba Thakoon used to make this Takrud is found in an ancient mulberry paper scripture, over a hundred years old, passed down from generation to generation. It carries numerous powers, extending across the universe, and is no less powerful than other sacred amulets in the golden bumblebee form.This yantra is considered special and unique in its own way. Kruba Thakoon has great confidence in this yantra. Whenever his disciples ask about the golden bumblebee amulets, he always thinks of this yantra first. He would write this yantra on metal sheets or roll it into a Takrud for them to worship.
Although the design of the yantra does not depict the image of the golden bumblebee, those who have used it share similar experiences, stating that the Takrud made with this yantra works just as effectively as other golden bumblebee amulets they have used. According to the history of Myanmar, this amulet was found in the palanquin of Bayinnaung Kyawhtin Nawrahta (Burmese: ဘုရင့်နောင် ကျော်ထင်နော်ရထာ). It is not an amulet for the king alone; many classes of people also believe in the power of this amulet. The "Golden Bumblebee" was praised by the Burmese as the majestic animal of Bayinnaung. Even the throne of Bayinnaung features a sculpture of the Golden Bumblebee. It is said that Bo Bo Ong, the great magic teacher, made eight pairs of Golden Bumblebees and placed them inside Bayinnaung's throne. As a result, whenever Bayinnaung sat on his throne, he would always achieve victory, earning the title "The Winner of 10 Directions."

The "Golden Bumblebee" is the holy insect that received the radiance of Buddha when he became enlightened. The Golden Bumblebees flew to the Himmapan forest and offered jasmine flowers to support Buddha’s throne as a sign of respect. Therefore, Buddha spoke to and blessed the Golden Bumblebee, saying, "You are the most sublime and exalted insect above all others."
[ The Heart-Piercer Bee ] The bumblebee is one of the few types of insect species that can drill a hole into hard wood or trees to create its living space, which is why it is also called the "Carpenter Bee". Therefore, it is no wonder that the Golden Bumblebee amulet has the charming ability to pierce the hearts of hard-hearted individuals and transform them into soft-hearted people effectively.
[ The Great Winner of Mind Conquest ] Bumblebees are attracted to sweet, beautiful, and fragrant things. สำหรับการสร้าง "ตะกรุดพญาแมลงภู่คำ" นี้ครูบาฐากูรได้นำแผ่นโลหะทองแดงมาจารเลขยันต์อักขระตามตำราแบบเต็มสูตรพร้อมเรียกสูตรเรียกนามในฤกษ์ยามเฉพาะคือวันจันทร์ ขึ้น 11ค่ำ อันเป็นวันดี วันเสน่ห์ ถือเคล็ดว่า "ทองแดง" คือโลหะธาตุประจำดาวศุกร์ดวงดาวแห่งความรักจึงถือเป็นธาตุแห่งความสุขมีเสน่ห์ในตัวซึ่งตามศาสตร์ความเชื่อของฝรั่งในสายเล่นแร่แปรธาตุก็ยังให้ความสำคัญกับเรื่องนี้เช่นกัน
For the making process of "Golden Bumblebee Takrud", Kruba Thakoon brought a copper metal plate to write full formula magic characters together with a special blessing for each magic character at a specific auspicious time according to scripture which is the 11th night of the waxing moon, a day considered good and associated with charm. Kruba Thakoon used copper metal plate to make this Takrud because "Copper" is the elemental metal of Venus, the star of love. Therefore, it is considered to be an element of happiness & charming in itself. According to the science of western belief in alchemy, there is also an emphasis on this matter.
