ในการสร้างเหรียญพระราหูอมจันทร์ครั้งนี้ ทางวัดได้จัดสร้างแบบเชิงช่างศิลป์ยุคโบราณ โดยนำต้นแบบมาจากราหูกะลาแกะของหลวงพ่อน้อย หนึ่งในชุดเบญจเครื่องรางของเมืองไทย ที่วงการพระเครื่องให้ความยอมรับมาช้านาน ว่าเป็นเครื่องรางที่ให้คุณในด้านของโชคลาภ, การพ้นจากเคราะห์ต่างๆ และเสริมดวงชะตาชั้นหนึ่ง เป็นพิมพ์ที่มีพระอาทิตย์พระจันทร์ในเหรียญเดียว ด้านหลังประทับด้วยอักขระเลขยันต์ขอมลาวตามตำรับการสร้างพระราหูของหลวงพ่อน้อย
ต้นตำรับตำนานพระราหูอันดับหนึ่งของเมืองไทย จะเป็นที่อื่นใดไปไม่ได้นอกจาก "วัดศีรษะทอง"ตามประวัติที่ถูกบันทึกไว้นั้น "หลวงพ่อน้อย นาวารัตน์" ได้เริ่มสร้างพระราหูจากกะลาตาเดียว ซึ่งว่ากันว่าท่านจะเสกพระราหูของท่านในฤกษ์สุริยคราสและจันทรคราสในช่วงเวลาที่จำกัด จึงทำให้พระราหูของท่านมีจำนวนน้อยมาก และยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ด้วยประสบการณ์จากผู้ที่บูชาไปในสมัยนั้น ต่างกล่าวขานว่า "ดวงดีไม่มีตก" จึงยิ่งทำให้ผู้คนเสาะแสวงหาพระราหูที่ท่านสร้างตั้งแต่สมัยนั้นจวบจนสมัยนี้
แม้เวลาจะล่วงเลยไป ชื่อเสียงของท่านในการสร้างพระราหูอันเข้มขลังศักดิ์สิทธิ์นั้นก็ยังคงอยู่เป็นอมตะไม่เสื่อมคลาย ด้วยบารมีของหลวงพ่อน้อย ทำให้วัดศรีษะทองยังคงเป็นสถานที่ๆมีผู้นิยมไปกราบไหว้ขอพรพระราหูมากที่สุดในประเทศไทยมาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ทางวัดศรีษะทองจึงได้สร้างวัตถุมงคลต่างๆตามตำรับตำราของหลวงพ่อน้อย เพื่อหาปัจจัยทำนุบำรุงถาวรวัตถุภายในวัด และเพื่อเป็นที่พึ่งแก่ผู้ที่ต้องการวัตถุมงคลที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยอำนาจของพระราหูไว้บูชาเพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ตัว
ในตำราทักษามหาพยากรณ์นั้นกล่าวว่า เมื่อบุคคลใดก็ตามถูกพระราหูเสวยอายุแล้ว ในช่วงเวลานั้นจะเกิดความรุ่มร้อนมีเคราะห์ต่างๆ เมื่อพระราหูเสวยอายุจึงควรหาพระราหูมาบูชาเพื่อบรรเทาฤทธิ์ของพระราหู หาไม่อาจจะได้รับความเดือดร้อนจนไม่อาจประคองตัวได้

For the creation of this Rahu Engulfing Moon Coin, the temple designed it using ancient craftsmanship techniques, drawing inspiration from the carved coconut shell Rahu of Luang Por Noi, which is a famous amulet from a legendary set of five amulets in Thailand. These amulets have long been recognized in the amulet community for their effectiveness in granting good fortune, protection from misfortune, and enhancing one’s destiny. The coin features both the sun and the moon in a single design, with the back embossed with Khmer and Lao magical inscriptions, following the traditional methods of creating Phra Rahu by Luang Por Noi.
The original legend of Rahu amulets, the most renowned in Thailand, can only be found at "Wat Srisathong." According to recorded history, "Luang Por Noi Nawarath" began crafting Rahu amulets from one-eye coconut shells. It is said that he would consecrate his Rahu amulets during solar and lunar eclipses at specific, limited times, which made the number of his Rahu amulets extremely rare. Furthermore, based on the experiences of those who worshipped them at the time, it was widely said that "Good Fortune Never Fades," which further fueled the desire for these rare amulets.
Even as time passed, Luang Por Noi's fame for creating powerful and sacred Rahu amulets remained undiminished. Due to his merit, Wat Srisathong continues to be the most popular place for people to pay respects and seek blessings from Phra Rahu in Thailand today. To support the temple’s preservation of its structures, Wat Srisathong has been producing various amulets according to Luang Por Noi’s teachings. In the prophecy, it is said that "Whoever was consumed by Rahu when the zodiac was changing will face misfortune during that period. Therefore, it is necessary to have a Rahu amulet.
