วิชานาคเกี้ยวในสายของท่านอาจารย์ศักดานั้นเป็นหนึ่งในวิชาสำคัญที่ท่านหวงแหนและเชื่อมั่นมากที่สุดวิชานึง โดยต้นสายของวิชานาคเกี้ยวนี้มีความเก่าแก่มาก ย้อนไปได้ถึงสมัยของอาณาจักรละโว้เมื่อเกือบ 1,000 ปีที่แล้ว มีตำนานเล่าขานถึงต้นกำเนิดวิชานี้ว่าพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่7 ได้ทรงฝึกฝนและศักษาในวิชานาคเกี้ยวจนแตกฉาน และนำอานุภาพของวิชามาใช้ได้ถึงขีดสุด จนสามารถพิชิตชัยนาคสาวเมืองบาดาลมาครองเป็นหนึ่งในนางสนม
วิชานาคเกี้ยวนี้ได้ส่งทอดต่อมาเป็นรุ่นๆเป็นหลายสาย และเชื่อกันว่าบุุคคลผู้หนึ่งที่ได้สืบทอดวิชานาคเกี้ยวก็คือ "ขุนวรวงศาธิราช" พราหมณ์ผู้ทำพิธีในพระราชวัง ในรัชสมัยของสมเด็จพระไชยราชาธิราช ร่ำลือกันว่าขุนวรวงศาธิราชก็ได้ใช้วิชานาคเกี้ยวนี้เสกดอกจำปา แล้วฝากสาวใช้นำไปถวายแม่หยัวศรีสุดาจันทร์ จึงทำให้แม่หยัวศรีสุดาจันทร์เกิดความรักใคร่เสน่ห์ในตัวขุนวรวงศาธิราช และกลายเป็นชู้รักกันในที่สุดตามที่มีบันทึกปรากฏอยู่ในพงศาวดาร
ด้วยเหตุที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นนี้ ท่านอาจารย์ศักดาจึงได้สร้าง "นาคเกี้ยวโลกีย์" ขึ้นมาเพื่อสืบสานตำนานวิชานาคเกี้ยว รุ่นนี้ถือเป็นรุ่นแรกที่ท่านยอมงัดวิชานาคเกี้ยวสุดหวงมาสร้างเป็นวัตถุมงคลแบบเต็มสูตร โดยท่านอาจารย์โอศักดาท่านได้นำ "ไม้คูนตายพราย" มาแกะเป็นรูปลักษณ์นาคเกี้ยว ตามภาพดั้งเดิมที่ปรากฏในตำราเก่าแก่ มีลักษณะเป็นร่างของบุรุษที่มีหัวเป็นพญานาค กำลังโอบกอดนาคสาวที่แปลงกายเป็นสตรีโฉมงาม ทั้งสองกำลังเสพสังวาสกันอย่างหฤหรรษ์ อาจจะดูคล้ายกับอิ้นคู่ที่เคยเห็นกัน แต่อานุภาพนั้นรุนแรงกว่ามากโข
