มีเรื่องเล่าขานสืบเป็นตำนานต่อกันมาว่า ไม้ชนิดนี้ขึ้นในป่าลึก เมื่อชาวบ้านไปเลี้ยงวัวควายแล้ววัวหลุดเข้าไปในป่า ไปเจอต้นไม้นี้จะไม่หนีไปไหน จะวนเวียนนอนเดินอยู่บริเวณต้นไม้วัวลืมคอกนั้น หลงจนไปไหนไม่เป็น วัตถุมงคลของท่านส่วนใหญ่ที่ทำมาจากไม้วัวลืมคอกขึ้นชื่อในเรื่องของมหาเสน่ห์ มหาเมตตา ช่วยค้าขาย ช่วยหาเงินหาทองดี จึงทำให้ผู้บูชาสมหวังในทุกสิ่งที่ปรารถนา ปัจจุบันนี้จึงเป็นที่เสาะแสวงหากันอย่างมาก และตัวจริงหายากมากๆเช่นกัน

From the experiences of those who have possessed the Inn-Kuu amulet consecrated by Arjarn Pleng Boonyuen, it is widely said to bring great charm and attraction for its owner. Although he passed away long ago, his legacy lives on. His most renowned specialty was the creation of Inn-Kuu, mystical twin figures used in matters of love and attraction. “Mai Wua Luem Khok (Cow-Forget-Pen Wood),” also known as “Pranom Pi Keng” wood, is believed to possess mystical properties. It is said that if a cow or any animal passes near this tree, it becomes enchanted and lingers around, it signifying the wood’s supernatural ability to attract living beings, both animals and humans. This rare wood has been used as a sacred material in the creation of various amulets by Arjarn Pleng Boonyuen, including the Phra Khun Paen Prai 59 Spirits, Inn-Kuu, Rak Yom, and many others.
There is a long-standing legend passed down through generations about this particular type of wood. It is said to grow deep within the forest. When villagers took their cattle into the woods and some wandered off, any that encountered this tree would not stray far. Instead, they would remain near it , walking around or lying beneath it, as if under a spell. Hence, the tree earned the name "Wua Luem Khok", meaning "the cow that forgets its pen." Most of the sacred objects created by the master are made from this Mai Wua Luem Khok (Cow-Forget-Pen Wood), which is highly renowned for its powerful qualities of great charm and loving-kindness. It is especially believed to bring success in trade, wealth, and the fulfillment of desires. As a result, these amulets are now highly sought after, and genuine pieces have become extremely rare.
